Son
I love my son so much, I try to prescribe my son’s life just as my father had once tried to prescribe mine, and I attempts to impose my views on my son.
Everyday I remind myself that Enlightenment must come from within.
(My son lives a life in the City)
I remembered how once, as a youth, I had compelled my father to let me go and join the ascetic, how I had taken leave of him, how I had gone and never returned. Had not my father also suffered the same pain that he was now suffering for his son?
